Our boutique hotel offers a limited number of rooms, all of them being very special, the interior design of the property having a unique theme. The house was build in 1910 and endured through ages until 2023 when we began the restoration deciding to honour its passage through time by remodelling the space into 4 accommodation units.
The first room is named “1910” and by the elements of interior design we focused on the living resources of the time (wood, iron crafts), adding the comfort of modern days with premium bedding and amenities. The furniture is manually carved from raw wood, decades old, recovered from an old barn. The second room is named “1950” and it honours the early delicate rural traditional art of Torocko, unique in the world, with the entire furniture being manually painted in this beautiful style.Room “1980″ stages the interior design of a typical Romanian comunist home. Most decorations date back from the era, are well conserved and functional. Our last room, “2025”, is a modern suite, with two rooms tastefully designed to represent the luxury and comfort of our era.
Although the house dates back multiple decades we put many efforts into reviving it and sharing its long journey through time while also offering you comfortable, modern days benefits. The flooring heating system is ensured by an alternative energy solution, while the walls are sound proofed and thermal insulated with passive house materials. Careful attention was given to windows, which are a landmark, and recreated the original design using three glass panes with laminated wood and manually carved details.

We are organising mountain climbing and trekking tours in the beautiful area of Trascau Mountains. Bike trips, rock climbing classes, trekking, motorcycling tours and many more activities are available with pre-booking.
Housekeeping Services
While visiting us your comfort is one of our most important concerns, therefore we are periodically changing the bed sheets, cleaning the rooms and providing you with the necessary amenities.

Our hotel is located in an amazing mountain region with breathtaking surroundings and we do recommend you to enjoy the time off from technology, but if you need to stay connected, we provide you free wi-fi and cable TV.
Bathrooms
All hotel bathrooms are fully equipped with the necessary amenities for your comfortable stay: floor heating, soft towels, hair dryer, hygiene products.
Breakfast Included
All of our rooms have breakfast included, in a variety of choices. Casa Weiss has a small restaurant named BaseCamp Café & Bistro where you may enjoy your preferred options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Parking Space
Although we do not provide an onsite garage we can accommodate your car easily. Just let us know upfront your arrival and we will direct you to the public parking near our property, where you may park your car at no cost and safely (surveillance cameras 24/7).
